This largely photographic history of the oldest black educational institution in Montgomery County includes a memorial to several school leaders and a listing of the members of the last faculty, administrators, and senior class of 1970.

This publication coincided with the well-attended unveiling of a historical marker on Sunday, July 4, 2004.  The program and the unveiling were videotaped and publicized in the Montgomery Advertiser.   Also included are an editor’s note and the program that preceded the unveiling.
